We began this series last week with a discussion on the Big Bang and religious responses to the Big Bang Theory.  This week, we will continue with our thoughtful conversations.

Presenter: Scott A. Reese, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Biology, Comparative Physiology, at Kennesaw State University. His research looks at the evolutionary paths that have led to physiological mechanisms allowing amphibians and reptiles to survive during the harsh winter environments found in the northern United States. He uses a comparative approach, looking at respiratory and acid-base physiology among several species that utilize different mechanisms for surviving.

Rev. Hall

Presenter:  Rev. Jake Hall has served as Pastor of Heritage Baptist Fellowship since 2006. A graduate of Duke University’s Divinity School, he and his wife Erin have lived in Canton for 6 years. He is completing his Doctorate at Mercer University and teaches as an adjunct at Reinhardt University, in the religion department.
