Sex and the Human BrainMay 22: Human Sexuality: It’s all in the Brain
at Heritage Baptist Fellowship

This week’s session is all about sexuality. First, we will explore the biology of sexuality with a focus on neurology. Are male and female brains different? How does neurology determine masculinity or femininity? Is attraction hard wired in our brains?  If so, how?

Presenter: Dr. Mary Jo Osteen, D.V.M. Adjunct Professor of Physiology
Brenau College

Part two examines sexuality, gender and the Christian tradition.  Dr. Swann’s lecture will explore various ways that the Christian tradition has engaged or expressed gender and sexuality. Does the Bible present singular perspective in regards to sexuality? How have gender roles evolved in the texts of scripture? Does the bible speak to present day conversation about sexuality?

Presenter: Rev. Dr. Chuck Swann, S.T.D. Retired Presbyterian Minister
